I worked for George from 1982 until he retired in 1986/87. I was then 25 to 30 years old. I'm grateful to have had a chance to know him and work for him. He taught me about the business and believed in me. It was a formative time for me and he was among a handful of people who I owe huge thanks for their wisdom and friendship. My last memories are of playing golf with him and other Northwestern Bell friends. My memories of George are treasured.
