The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clark Beyer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Fond Memories

I met Clark almost 40-years ago in First Grade, the next decade+ was spent playing sports, sleep-overs, and roaming the woods by both of houses; they are awesome memories as years later we would always reminisce those childhood and teen days.  Clark & I then separated for the first time in twelve years when we went off to college, we would still talk and then visit once in a while, several years went by, we had both graduated and I was living in Chicago, Clark in Minneapolis. Clark then convinced me to come to the Twin-Cities as he knew it was a great place for me, as it was for him.  I did, living with Clark now as roomates for two plus years and meeting great people such as Dan, Vic & Elo.

Clark always had an open house policy, he liked having many people over to talk to, he told me the more the better; he loved all the different people he met over the years through Elo, Vic and Dan.   Eventually I grew up and moved out, met a great gal and Clark stood up in the wedding as we always knew he would.  Clark and I still remained close, over the next decade he would  visit my house and spend time with Maren, I and now my kids, Clark was always a gentle and kind guy.  Over the years life's many different directions took hold of both of us and over the past three or four years we didn"t see each other, I'm sorry that life does that and in times like this you realize you could have made the time.  But what is left is fond & fun memories that will be with me forever, thanks for those.  RIP Clark Beyer, you will be missed.
