First and foremost, I want to pay my condolences to Bill and Betty Ann Rabe and family. My heart goes out to you and your family. I want to thank your family for bringing this wonderful person into the world. She was such a unique, genuine individual there will never be another person like her ever again. I met Amy when I went to St. Cloud State. We were fast friends and clicked immediately. We had a forever bond after that. I transferred to another college, but we still stayed in touch. In 2001 I was getting married, and this was before Facebook and such, but we connected via email and she ended up coming to my wedding. It was such a wonderful thing to have her there and to have those memories. She gave the best speech, of course, and then came up to my hotel room after to take all the bobby pins out of my hair. I would have never gotten those out of my hair if it weren’t for her determination. This is just one memory I have of Amy and I have so many more and that is why she is endearing to me. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, friend and person. She loved words and she was an avid writer. I was intimidated thinking that I would have to write something about her because we would collaborate on stuff and she was always a better writer than I. I just hope I am giving her justice. I know she is at peace now and looking over everyone she loved. Just need to figure out how to not talk to her anymore because I miss her more than words can say. Rest in Peace my friend. Love you more than you know!!!!
